Endings must be used a certain way or playback may not work as expected. Use a closed ending line (hook facing down) for intermediate endings and an open one (no hook) for the last ending.

FIX: Use the x-parameter in the General pane of the Properties window first on the time signature (positive value) and then on the repeat sign (negative value).

• Click on the time signature in your score
• Windows>Properties>General pane
• Click on the down arrow next to the text field “X” repeatedly to move the time signature to the left to the location on top of repeat bar

• Click on the start repeat barline in your score
• Windows>Properties>General pane
• Click on the up down arrow next to the text field “X” repeatedly to move the time signature to the right of the start repeat bar

NOTE: The start repeat barline isn't necessary at all, technically or otherwise, at the beginning of a piece and may be removed altogether.
